About Habs
habs queer basel is committed to a self-determined life for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans people, intersexuals, asexuals, aromantics, pansexuals and non-binary people.
We try to contribute our positions to social and intercultural dialogues within the scope of our possibilities, or to take up such dialogues ourselves if necessary.

Politics & Society
The Politics & Society working group aims to address political issues and improve the visibility of queer people in the public sphere.
Zischbar
The lesbian-gay ZischBar of habs, every Tuesday in the Kaserne, has been a permanent fixture in Basel’s gay and lesbian life since 1984. Come along! Tuesdays 5 pm to 1 am
Basel Trans Treff
For transitioning people
The aim is the exchange of trans women and trans men of all ages in Basel and the establishment of a trans community in Basel.
Beratung
The habs counselling hotline helps with questions about homosexuality, coming out, homophobic violence and other issues that are bothering you. Every Wednesday from 7 pm to 9 pm: 061/692 66 55
Schwule Väter
The habs project for gay fathers meets regularly and discusses interesting topics relating to gay fathers and their environment. An ideal contact point to get to know each other and exchange ideas.
Bi- & Pansexuelle
Do you feel like you’re neither in the right place with gays & lesbians nor with heterosexuals as a bi- / pansexual? Then you’re in good hands with us. The habs bi- & pansexual discussion group helps and networks.
Aromantic and asexual spectrum discussion group
Discussion group for people on the aromantic and/or asexual spectrum and those who wonder if they are on the spectrums.
